We understand the importance of finding the right place to kick-start your career. At Vicinity we don’t just own and manage shopping centres – we play a key role in the everyday lives of many Australian communities, creating environments for more than 9,000 retailers to trade and creating places where people love to connect. We want people who can offer diverse perspective, collaborate and help us imagine a better way as we reimagine destinations of the future.
What we offer
We know the future will bring new disruptions, technology and systems so we need to get to work in building our leaders of the future. Our 18-month program is packed with fun and challenging work with development opportunities to ensure our Graduates have the right traits and mindset to lead us into the future.
On the program, you’ll have rotations every six months, designed to give you broader understanding of how you fit into the big picture. And you won’t do it alone. You’ll contribute to a collaborative and innovative culture with a dedicated mentor, manager and a buddy, with support from our Organisational Development team and backing from our senior leaders.
From day one you will be offered invaluable hands-on experience and a variety of knowledge and development opportunities to put you on course to becoming a leader of the future. On-the-job learning working alongside colleagues in various parts of our business is complemented by formal workshops, events, design thinking strategic projects, and your own self-managed training budget. There are plenty of social and networking activities; your two week induction is the kick start in helping you make friends and connections. Through this program you will be set up to take on corporate life with a fully equipped toolkit.

Who we look for
We want people who have traits and competencies of tomorrow’s talent, today.
We have a clear vision and strong values, and we want people who embody them. You’ll want to embrace difference, collaborate and imagine a better way to help us create places where people love to connect.

You’ll need to be curious, adaptable, innovative and driven to achieve results. We want to see how you’ve demonstrated your ability to deal with ambiguity, how you can influence positive outcomes, how you have taken risks that have created value and how you have motivated yourself and others to achieve objectives.
