Lidcombe Centre is a modern two-level sub regional centre located on Parramatta Road, directly opposite Sydney’s first Costco. Following a redevelopment in 2015 the centre boasts a full-line Woolworths, new format Kmart, Aldi supermarket as well as Spotlight and Anaconda. Lidcombe Centre offers local businesses and a family-oriented community a choice of fresh food retailers, a popular casual eating precinct and free parking for more than 1,000 vehicles. Catering to the rapidly growing population of Sydney’s inner west, the centre provides shoppers with a convenient shopping and dining experience.
Our Lidcombe Centre is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join the team on a 12-month fixed term basis to provide pivotal assistance to the overall marketing team. As Marketing Coordinator, you will assist the Marketing Manager to provide an integrated and strategic approach to marketing activity, which will in turn increase traffic and sales, thereby positively contributing to the centre's profitability and overall asset value. This includes owning key functions such as managing the communications relevant to social media, holding key relationships with external agencies, organising the retailer newsletter and being the first point of contact for all marketing related enquiries.
The marketing team is passionate about marketing and providing relevant and engaging content for their local community. Networking and connecting with the local community is crucial to the overall success of the team.
As such, you will be:
- An outstanding communicator with the ability and willingness to work within a team;
- Professional, confident and proactive in your attitude, with a results-focused approach;
- Tertiary qualified in Marketing, ideally with experience in working within a marketing department or related business unit.
