We’re looking for an Operations Manager to join the team at our Grand Plaza Shopping Centre and take responsibility for the management and upkeep of building services within agreed quality standards while ensuring the safety, presentation and comfort of tenants, Vicinity staff, suppliers and visitors in a manner which promotes the brand of Vicinity in the marketplace.
Grand Plaza is a single-level regional shopping centre located approximately 22kms south of Brisbane's CBD. The centre is anchored by Target, Big W, Woolworths, Coles, Kmart, Aldi, as well as Event Cinemas and 129 specialty stores. Grand Plaza offers local residents and families a convenient fresh food and everyday shopping and entertainment experience.
What will success look like?
- Establishing quality standards for the centre’s aimed at meeting or exceeding customer and retailer expectations
- Ensuring compliance with Occupation Health and Safety policies and the implementation of the safety management systems
- Tenancy delivery including the management of on-site fit outs and refurbishments
- Budget, reporting and capital expenditure requirements
What will you bring?
You will present with facilities management experience and capability and bring sound technical, operational and legislative management and understanding. Solid reporting capability, knowledge of budgeting and forecasting coupled with strong contractor management and demonstrated safety, health and environmental management capabilities will enable you to manage a range of competing priorities and projects in this role.
