Eastlands is a two-level Sub Regional Shopping Centre anchored by Big W, Coles, Kmart and Woolworths. It is situated in southern Tasmania on Hobart’s eastern shore. Eastlands is the leading shopping destination within its area, with a focus on capturing and growing the family market segment.
We are currently looking for a Part Time Marketing Coordinator to assist the Eastlands Marketing team 3 days per week to develop and implement the centre’s Marketing Strategy. As Marketing Coordinator, you will assist the Marketing Manager to provide an integrated and strategic approach to marketing activity, which will in turn increase traffic and sales, thereby positively contributing to the centre's profitability and overall asset value.
You will be tasked with the development and implementation of marketing project plans, and identifying effective uses of research materials, in addition to other responsibilities such as participating in at least 1 multi centre national marketing promotion and 1 submission to Marketing Industry Awards annually.
There will be a heavy focus on campaigns focused around Eastland’s presence on Facebook, Instagram, and the centre website, in addition to direct email campaigns, and how marketing can contribute to the overall success of the retailers.
The successful candidate will be:
- Social media savvy;
- Professional, confident and with a proactive attitude and a dynamic, results-focused approach;
- Experienced in working within a marketing department or related business unit;
- Tertiary qualified in Marketing or a related discipline.
Previous exposure to a role within the shopping centre or retail sector would be highly regarded. Experience with InDesign or Photoshop will also be favourable.
